1. What brought you to start making music?
I always loved music, I always had the “bug” in me for doing music, so I jumped onto Youtube and taught myself how to produce.

2. Who are your 3 biggest influences?
I've always digged the style of Claude Von Stroke, since the beginning.

3. Who are some of your favorite up-and-coming producers?
There is a lot of them, but I’m gonna shout out the Brazilian ones, like Noise Clap, Sterium, MOCHAKK and Confesser

4. If you had to pick one superpower, what would it be and why?
I'd want to be Thor because I'd hit everyone with my hammer!

Alex Fear is a Columbus-based DJ whose knowledge of electronic music dives deep into the realms of melodic deep house, tech house, and ambient. If you're lucky, you might even catch him throwing some trance in the mix. His musical background began early on in life with experience in piano, saxophone, and drums before trying his hand at DJing in 2011. His influences span from legends such as Above & Beyond, Claude Vonstroke, Jamie Jones, and Justin Martin to newer DJs owning the scene as Lane 8, Kyle Watson, Maximono, Golf Clap, Mikey Lion, and Max Chapman. 

Alex, solo as well as with his partner Zach Lowe as Fear & Lowe, has helped support some big hitters new and old in the house music world including:
Lane 8, Walker & Royce, Cut Snake, Mija, Ardalan, Bruno Furlan, Golf Clap, Dillon Nathaniel,  Option4, Thugf*cker,  and Dombresky.
