A unique twist on the summer anthem, “Not Ready For Summer” is a story about a young guy who went through a recent breakup and is not quite ready to dive into the best time of the year 'cause he can't spend it with his girl. Instead of enjoying all that summer has to offer like the beach and partying with friends, he reminisces about his former lover and the things they did together.

It was inspired by a situation that one of my good friends was going through. She had a serious relationship that seemed to be going well but even though she and her boyfriend loved each other, they had different values and priorities in life. For example, she was inspired to move to California but he wanted to settle down in the suburbs of New Jersey. I was supporting and advising her through the turbulence of the relationship. But they ended up breaking up right before summer started. All her friends were planning fun summer stuff like going to the beach, going on road-trips, hanging out in New York, partying, but she was not interested ‘cause she was processing this major breakup. I felt like it was something a lot of people can relate to. Even though it’s such an exciting time of year, if your mind is still reeling in a break-up or some pain, it makes that time of year even harder. It’s also a reminder that the fun stuff is only fun when it’s with the people who you love—your partner, your crew, your family. Without even going too deep into the story, it’s a song about missing the person you love—even if it wasn’t a breakup. If you’re far away from the person you love during the joys of summer and what it brings, it’s just not the same thing: we love to make memories with people we love to be around. In that sense, I could also relate to the song in my own life, because when I wrote it, I had just moved back to NYC and my girl was primarily in LA. So my NYC friends were all ready to go out and do fun stuff but I was missing her so much and felt a longing to be with her. The summer was just not the same without her.

When I wrote the song, I wanted to create a summer vibe song but with a twist. Everyone talks about being ready for summer to come right away but this guy says he’s NOT ready for it so it’s a totally different type of summer anthem.

Comenzó su carrera como dj en el año de 1985 trabajando con muchas minitecas de la época, con el pasar de los años comienza a trabajar con muchos discplay de renombre a nivel nacional y así comenzando a tocar en los mejores conciertos con empresas reconocidas como: Empresas Polar, Brahma, Promo Eventos, Peluche Productions, Kiss Line Productions, Movilnet, Movistar, Producciones Solid Show 2050 C.A y otras, compartiendo tarima con artistas de todos los géneros con reconocimiento a nivel nacional e internacional.
Trabajo en la discoteca BLUE de la Universidad Santa María Caracas Venezuela y en la Discoteca LA PLAYA Caracas Venezuela como dj residente.
En el año 2001 toma la iniciativa de crear música comenzando así su faceta como dj productor, creando temas y remixes para uso personal para sus presentaciones y realizando ediciones musicales para emisoras de radio y artistas.
