DKODA - The WeekDay Jam

Deep&Disco is back with a remix package by singer Adeline Michèle, the Parisian-born front lady of the band Escort,with remixes by Kraak & Smaak, DJ Vas, JKriv and Dino Soccio.

Co-written and produced by JKriv, the original is a modern take on 80's mid-tempo R&B, think Chaka Khan meets Holy Ghost! Blending a deep bass line with shimmering synth textures, the infectious hook really shines a light on Adeline's formidable vocals. Kraak & Smaak rework the tune into a chilled-out new boogie affair, while DJ Vas and JKriv take things into deeper and darker territory with their mixes. Dino Soccio rounds out the package with sultry and warm west coast flavor.

Adeline Michèle has been leading disco band Escort since the release of their first eponymous album in 2011. With a new Escort record slated for an end of October release, and other lead up singles gaining serious attention in Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and the NY Times magazine, Adeline is set to make some serious waves in 2015 and beyond.

“Redo:Remixed” will be available exclusively on Beatport on October 12th, then iTunes, Spotify and everywhere else by early November.

  Djamel DAHAK alias dj Djams1 est un artiste aux compétences diverses. Danseur professionnel international depuis plus de 10 ans et activiste au sein de la Cie K'sure et l’un des fondateurs  l’ecole de danse INS School  , il a développé dans un premier temps beatmaking par le biais composition musicale par MAO (musique assistée par ordinateur)  ou des sampleurs  pour personnaliser les créations de danse, allier le mouvement à la musique.

Puis par la suite a su développer ce moyen pour créer différents styles de musiques et découvrir une nouvelle passion.
La logique du djing lui saute aux yeux (l’art de mixer avec des platines ) pour faire écouter ses compositions et de faire découvrir ses influances musicales au grand public , cet artiste accompli peut tout faire.
