We conclude the 2023 chapter of our Exclusive Mix series with Denes Toth, a true ambassador of the Slovak independent electronic dance music scene. Toth, a DJ, producer and founder of the Moody event series, recently also started the Moodyverse label.  

As a producer, he released on Berlin’s New Tab Music,
Mono.Noise and Circus Recordings. As a performer, besides his residency at Bratislava’s Aldea Club, he's a regular guest in many Slovak, Czech and Hungarian clubs and festivals like B my Lake, Sziget, Balaton Sound, Grape, Beats for Love etc.

Cosmic Rhythms - 02-01-24

Here is my last mix of 2023 and a very special one for myself as it was my first release of my track "Somnium" on the fantastic @Manualrecordings end of year compilation album,The brilliant "Manualism XVII".Delighted to be a signed artist to a label i love and have supported for a long long time,and all this would never have been possible if not for the great guy that is @PaulHazendonk.Paul is another artist/dj/producer/labelowner and on and on that i hugely admire and have so many of his own tracks in my sets,not to mention many tracks on his other labels,MNL ,Manual Deep and onwards.It truly was my highlight in terms of anything i do in this music industry.I do not tour the big clubs,i do not have a promotions back up team,i have to try and fit my dj mixes and trying to make tracks in between working long hours on the road !
 So to Paul i truly do thank you for showing me a little support and belief:)Hopefully 1 day i might get to play on the same night as the man.

Music has always been a passion for Balázs Kovács aka ARTIM. His musical influence came primarily from Jean Michel Jarre and Kraftwerk records.

He grew up on trance music in the late 1990s and the first years of the 2000s, than after a short journey to the minimal / deep tech genre, he finally found his ultimate sound of expression called organic house.

His main goal is to share this groovy, atmospheric sound with others, bring joy to the dance floor and make people smile. For this purpose he is constantly working on his sound and expanding his music selection so there’s always something new to be heard. In the past years he has DJed for bars, pubs, and special events in Budapest.
