Hydrosplifix started off producing Drum & Bass and Hip-Hop in Cape Town back in 2006. Moving shortly after to London to spend a few years honing his craft.

He then came back to South Africa to help run successful psy events for a number of years. After many years behind the scenes in a number of large festivals, he recently decided to focus on production again.

Coming from a long line of musicians he incorporates jazz, reggae, jungle and various other elements, drawing inspiration from his travels across the globe and the ancient rhythms of forgotten cultures, his fusion of styles brings a new dimension of dark grooves to the psychedelic realm...

RISE For LAB'ELLES - LIVE STREAM

This is half of the set I played in my home town (Sevilla) end of January just before the lockdown at a party by Dystopia crew. What a premonition of what was coming. The music contained goes from minimal dark techno (this side of the story) to groovy and happy side of psytech (which will be uploaded in the next couple of weeks)
Instead a whole long set, I opted to separate them as the story as a whole make a hard turn. My will was to showcase both of my main styles when it comes to techno. I hope you enjoy the journey :)

En 2006, elle découvre le monde Psychédélique et trouve une nouvelle passion, la musique. 

Passionnée de danse en parallèle, elle monte un projet de danse avec Illu-Zion Cie, ses sets deviendront alors de véritables performances visuelles et sonores. 

En 2020 elle commence à s'intéresser au live et passe son temps chez elle à travailler pour atteindre ses objectifs, qu'elle s'est fixés pour la réalisation de ses projets.
