Kult Location in den Kasematten hinter den Deichtorhallen.

PRESSE MOPO:
Das „Traxx“ war eine Höhlen-Disco in den Kasematten nahe der Deichtorhallen, in den 90ern wurde der Laden zum Party-Tempel. „Das Traxx war DAS gesellschaftliche Mekka, da musste man rein“, erinnert sich Gastronom Stephan Kolba, der dort mit seiner Event-Agentur „Park Projekte“ die ersten Partys veranstaltete. „Das war neben dem Trinity die erste schicke Disco mit Lasershow. Musikalisch aber eher Standard – Dance-Classics und Co.“

Dieter Bohlen baggerte Disco-Mädchen an und machte Verona am Tresen einen Heiratsantrag. Die damalige Miss Germany, Verona Feldbusch, schrieb damals in der MOPO übrigens folgendes über den Club: „Ich finde es zwar oft unmöglich, wie pingelig sich die Türsteher anstellen, aber die Musik ist klasse!“ Jenny Elvers stürzte sich aus der Beziehung mit Heiner Lauterbach direkt in die Arme von „Fanta 4“-Rapper Thomas D. und strahlte mit ihm in die Kameras der Fotografen. Unterdessen nahm George Clooney an der Bar einen Absacker und Tennis-Star John McEnroe (61) rockte mit Yannick Noah (60) auf der Bühne. 1996 war im "TRAXX" und dem "ROXX" nach acht Jahren Schluss.

DJ Set Housemeisters Andreas Quick und Jared Austin aka Tim Gröpper die regelmäßig im Traxx und Roxx an den Turntables mit Vinyl das House rockten.
