DJ Thury aka Soraia Tomas was born in Coimbra, Portugal in the year of 1993.
Her first connection to music was acquired while she was an active member of a choir for six years during her youth. During this time, she had a mentor that taught her the basics of music theory and expanded her mind to the endless possibilities of musical creation and participation.
During her teenage years, Thury began to listen to electronic music and then quickly became a fan of psychedelic trance. She had her first experience mixing on CDJS in 2016, and her debut performance was at Massas Club in Coimbra.
Since that party in particular, Thury hasn't stopped pursuing her passion for becoming a skilled and knowledgeable DJ that represents the darker side of trance and forest in her home country.
Having played all around Portugal since the creation of her project, Thury has gained attention throughout Europe and has a promising collection of gigs coming up for 2020.
