Django Django – Born Under Saturn

“Southbound” is an indie rock / indie pop track with a dreamy, cinematic atmosphere inspired by flying away from the cold Nordic winter and chasing warmth and hope. It starts soft with acoustic guitar and intimate vocals, then gradually builds into an uplifting groove with drums, bass and airy synths, almost danceable, but still chill and emotional.

The song was produced in Norway and recorded with international musicians from Ukraine (guitar & bass), Spain (piano), and South Africa (drums), blending different cultures into one sound.

Southbound captures that nostalgic, sunset-feeling of leaving home, a mix of freedom, longing and light.
