Tomás Urquieta is back home. Today, the New York-based Chilean producer returns to Insurgentes to present: 'El David Muerte', his second studio album. This time, eight cuts are exploring meaninglessness moments, cigarette haze and night, pure serial mistakes. This full-length is a eulogy to failed acts. Reflections and loops sometimes delirious, in a sort of threshold of affective links and connections towards all the no-mind states which emerge daily, anonymous, as a small-time exercise that blur with the same speed in which one wanders down the street. This is a journey into elusive and distracted thoughts, both yours and Tomás'ones. They are memories of past and future loves, political ideas that get lost among the horrible advertising, in a graffiti or at the moment you look down to send a useless text message.

Tomás indelible sound print, where nostalgia collides with incisive percussion and soaring sound design, are creative acts that culminate as anonymous milestones of this wandering. Perhaps, more than an album, this release is a set of fragments, frugal chronicles, small stories that enhance and consolidate Tomás Urquieta´s coherence and consistency in recent years.

Sorry to bother you & writing about this so late, but the case is really urgent and important . .

We're running a pretty sexy label called glamour.

A few days ago our friend survived a major accident and he ended up being paralyzed from the waist down. He'd been in a coma for two weeks, woke up and doctors said he won’t walk anymore. He created a fundraising page (zrzutka.pl/s33zx9) so we decided to help him raise the money for everything by making a charity compilation that we would release on glamour’s bandcamp.
We wanted to ask, if maybe you (or any befriended musical project you know) would like (and could of course!) to be featured in such a compilation? For now, we have 70 confirmed artists (including galen tipton, John Object, Dmitri Mazurov etc.), many more to come.
All the money from bandcamp would go for Maciek. We thought of you because we admire your music so soooo much, and still want this compilation to be pure quality! <3

(The track must be unreleased yet, but you don’t have to make a new piece especially for the compilation. You can even give us something you’ve created some time ago but never published it.)

Detroit's own Booty Bass pioneer DJ Assault has had a large hand in bringing booty music, from the urban streets of Detroit to the suburban club circuit. The incorporation of electro beats with hardcore, sometimes pornographic lyrics, is what makes ghetto-house highly distinguishable from its other techno cousins.

His track "Ass -N- Titties" (Released in on his self run Jefferson Ave label ) featured in a scene in 22 Jump Street an American comedy film directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The film was released on June 13, 2014, by Columbia Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, received generally positive reviews, and earned over $308 million at the box office.

Another early DJ Assault track, ‘Tear Da Club Up’, was recently sampled by Darius Syrossian who used Dj Assault’s vocal to make it a house track. Darius made the track in the summer of 2013 especially for his BBC 1 essential mix. The track is being played from Ibiza to Japan, by many underground house deejays including Dirty Bird label boss and international deejay / producer Claude Von Stroke, who seems to make it his trademark to insert ghetto-bass elements into his house sets.
