Renzo, born on December 11, 1981, in Leiden, The Netherlands, is a DJ and producer currently based in the Noordkop (North Holland). Having started DJing in 1994 and performing at venues in and around Leiden since 2000, Renzo has deep roots in the city’s music scene. The name “The Keytown Connection” reflects his strong connection to Leiden, also known as “sleutelstad” (Keytown) due to the two keys featured in its coat of arms. After living there for 35 years, Renzo has now settled in the Noordkop.

Since 2020, he has been seriously focused on producing music, releasing four tracks on Gabberhead Records. Renzo specializes in early and next-gen hardcore, with next-gen hardcore being the style he now produces.
