Decided to take a trip back in time, to around 10 years ago and all the tracks i made back then. Selected what was the better ones and have thrown them all in this near on 2 hour mix with lots of funk edits, mashups, bootlegs and some originals that you probably haven't heard before. Some of the mixdowns are terrible, levels are everywhere and some tracks might be out of key. Still it's great to go through all these old tunes again and for you the listener they will sound nice and fresh.

Progression for the better is something that happens naturally to us all when we do something over a long period of time so it's great to go back to the start of it all even if the music is not going to be a chart topper but good enough to get your toes tapping. Enjoy !

This was my set from a fun new club night, called Space. This particular show was all-vinyl from beginning to end. So much fun spinning black wax again! It's way more challenging after playing digital for so many years, but the crowd loved it! So many nostalgic tunes all night.

Again, no tracklist for this mix. Half the tunes were white labels, or remixes by unknown artists. If you ask for an ID, I might remember what it is...

Lushpod #54 is woven with death and beauty. Inspired by the beauty and warmth in Lake Tahoe, I returned home with a sad news of a good friend.  Andrew was pivotal in my early development as a DJ, as he was always keen to book me for his birthday parties.  His death, amidst an ecstasy of natural beauty, provided a contrast of feelings and emotions.  Ultimately, I wanted to record this Lushpod to honor his life, and I hope it brought a little bit of his spirit to this set.  LP54 features tracks from Kiasmos, John Summit, Sean Miller, Santarini, Monkey Safari, and Lovebirds.
