A bit of a storytelling vibe in March's episode, with a slightly broader-than-usual mix of different rhythms and styles. This one opens with some really breathtaking new mellow breakbeat material from Tibi Dabo, then works through some deep and melodic grooves. A bit of dub techno influence gets sprinkled on top, before things finally round out on a downtempo, almost indie-electro vocal vibe. Hope you all enjoy this little adventure.

A rising star in the Canadian and international electronic music scene, Borella has garnered support from none other than Nick Warren, via his SoundGarden label. She is busy on the DJ circuit, with regular appearances at CODA/Toronto, supporting the likes of Jeremy Olander and Einmusik, and even travelling to Tulum this spring to perform alongside Armen Miran.

The sounds that characterise them are the mixture of different Cultures in the World, inspired by the Culture and Instruments of the Pre Hispanic Culture with Natural Sounds from Mexico. Appealing.. Sensual.. Insanely good.
