Consisting of the previously released singles 'Be Mine' and 'Coming Home', Skywild's debut EP on User Friendly is rounded out with the alluring track 'Can't Explain'. Tight-knit drums pop through warm, fuzzy synths, complimenting the track's repeating vocal hook. The three-song EP takes listeners on a ride through various feelings and emotions, making this release perfect for any type of casual listen or DJ set.

For E034 of UFP, we've got a mix from D1RT M@LL, the new alias of Milwaukee's J.C. Hanna of Shadow People.

Everything evolves. Music, people, style, fashion, art, events, thought, ideas, inspiration, etc. D1RT M@LL is a new project derived from the evolution of all those things. The brainchild of scene veteran and DJ J.C. Hanna, it’s the culmination of 20+ years in the music industry and refusing to be pigeonholed into just one style, classification, or genre. 

Highly influenced by his 90s Chicago rave roots, he’s always had an affinity for everything from ghetto/booty/electro/acid/juke/techno as well as a love for 80s & 90s hip hop and pop music. The definition of “dirt mall” is "a place of business where used goods are made available at bargain prices, a flea market", and this is the approach that J.C. is flipping into his musical repertoire.

The project takes bits and pieces from all of his favorite artists and genres from the past and present and transforms them into his own new style that’s strictly focused on the dancefloor, the future, and putting the fun back into music.

As the summer season approaches, it's the perfect time to release a fresh tune from Bearkat. Having previously released a remix through User Friendly for RONCO's Movin' You Remix EP, the young producer brings a bouncing bassline with his latest single. Had To Look is reminiscent of our favorite UK Garage tracks while staying true to the Tech House sound, with tight-knit drums and scattered vocal chops. Bearkat is an up-and-coming talent that you don't want to sleep on as he continues to impress with his original tracks.
