Miguel Rojas better known as DJ Biggie started djing during his freshmen year of high school. It was during this year he was introduced to DJ's at early morning house parties also known through out Chicago as Day Time Parties. Immediately following his high school career, he relocated to Texas where he would meet DJ Natural of the Radio Bums, from whom he learned about the real art of sound engineering. He returned home to Chicago in 2007 and was offered a DJ residency with the Soundwaves Network. While with Soundwaves he was able to learn more about the club scene and got the chance to spin at numerous clubs in the Chicago land area and surrounding suburbs such as Botana, Wet, Soiree , Betty Blue Star Lounge, Radiostar and many more. The Soundwaves Network hosted a weekly event titled “Warehouse Saturdays” featuring many other Chicago DJ's which ultimately split the ability to spin selected genre's. It was this constriction that led to DJ Biggie's recognition of his juke and crunk live DJ sets. After parting ways with "Warehouse Saturdays" and the Soundwaves Network, DJ Biggie founded his own company, Big Time Entertainment. In November of 2010, he teamed up with Second City Underground and co-coordinated one of the most successful holiday events “I Fear The Night" for black Wednesday. Fast forwarding to present day, Miguel Rojas has returned to his roots and continues to hit the scene as his DJ alias Biggie.
