Detroit born and bred DJ turned artist, Bill$ emerged as one of the city’s best kept secrets. Born in 1997, Billy was raised in Oak Park Michigan growing up heavily in the church choir while burning CDs selling them to his classmates for a little extra change. Upon his journey as a student at Howard University, Bill$ was reintroduced to his love of music through deejaying. When he realized this was not his passion, he took his frustrations to pen and paper. Bill$ dropped his first highly anticipated EP “Duffe Boy Blues” in 2021. Bill$ also created his brand “Duffe” in 2020, which is a social enterprise that focuses on highlighting and aiding creatives of all disciplines. Duffe represents “In My Bag”, which Bill$ is in forever. His latest EP “PrettyGirlMusic.wav” releases 2023.
