CLUB BIZARRE - WELCOME 2016

SINCHI is an Amsterdam based collective of musicians, producers, artists and writers searching for those all too brief moments of truth through their chosen medium.  They have released a number of EP's on Dutch label "NightNoise" over the last couple of years with remixes from friends including Moscoman (that we premiered here at LYO), Heretic and FLVN amongst others.  In addition, they host their "Sinchi & Friends" mix series on their blog with track premieres from artists around the world.
In 2016, they launched their annual "Altered States" festival in Amsterdam. 
Sinchi is also behind www.sinchi-tribe.com, a non profit focused on the preservation of indigenous culture & knowledge. Coming soon will be a groundbreaking collaboration with aboriginal tribes and their traditional songlines with some of todays leading electronic music producers such as Tolouse Low Trax, Moscoman, Joy Orbison, Borusiade, Gilb’R or Heretic amongst others. LYO#074 / Sinchi Collective

Warnes is an electronic duo from Buenos Aires, formed in August of 2017 by Luciano Carestia and Cali Burton. Their shows are usually played in Live Band format, in which they combine indietronic music for the dance floor. Their first EP comes with classy remixes from Balam, Animam, Ricardo Ruben and El Fulminador

Happy to welcome Motel77 not only to the series but also to the label, as they've done a killer remix that will be included on the next Ep - out very soon.

Thoma Cher & Charp teamed up last year to form Motel77, a dark disco act 'for those who like to keep their leather jacket on the dance floor', as quoted in Trax Magazine.

After an Ep on Nein and another on La Dame Noir, these two guys have become ones to keep an eye on, not only as producers but also as Dj's, since they've been djing in Shanhgai for over a decade now, something we could tell after listening to the mix they sent us, a perfect balance between disco, rock, dark and light.

QMLS December Radio Show with Javier Busto

The history of the DJ duo and couple Local Suicide stretches back to 2009. Since they meet, Munich-born Brax Moody and Thessaloniki native Vamparela have collaborated together on projects ranging from DJ sets and bands to remixes and music production, all culminating in the conception of Local Suicide in Berlin. The rhythm and dynamism of Munich’s burgeoning hip-hop scene is merged with the grit of the back-alley indie clubs lining the streets of Vamparela’s hometown to give birth to the distinctive Local Suicide sound, an energetic fusion of New Wave, Slow Techno, Post-Disco, EBM and Acid that they themselves like to call “Cobra Wave” and “Technodisco”.

You can rest assured that this couple is at the very peak of their game. Their DJ career has carried them to all four corners of the world, whipping crowds into a frenzy at Lollapalooza, Melt!, Amsterdam Dance Event, Off Sonar, Festival Forte, Berlin Festival and almost every club the German capital has to offer. Their live cuts have been honed to perfection with years of shows alongside the very best in the scene, even being invited by New Order to warm up for their live performance. This hectic schedule has taken them across Europe, Asia, North Africa, South America and the United States, all whilst holding down their day jobs in the music industry. Leaving the DJ booth, however, does not mean they are leaving their comfort zone. As the faces behind some of the most prolific parties Berlin has to offer, these two were the driving forces of the now infamous T.O.F.U (Too Old For Understatement) parties for example, which are just one of the many marks that they have left on the Berlin underground scene.
