Earthly Measures 30th release welcomes Chilean artist DJ Raff back on the label.

Inspired by the dizzying passage of time, the idea of living several lives within one, and the shifting emotional states we inhabit — each with its own weight and significance — the producer delivers a record that balances evocation and movement. On Daydreaming, nostalgic tones intertwine with percussive layers and danceable rhythms, striking a fine line between the introspective and the physical.

Analogue photography plays a central role in the creative process. As Raff explains: “When I’m wandering around with my camera, I feel more present than ever in the moment. I love analogue photography and the dreamy aesthetic it creates. Having only 36 shots on a roll and not being able to see the results immediately forces me to slow down and observe everyday reality differently. Things that would normally go unnoticed suddenly reveal themselves.”

Daydreaming will be available on all digital platforms from 3 October, marking the 30th release from London-based label Earthly Measures.

“Time” is the first single from DJ Raff’s forthcoming EP Daydreaming, set for release on 3 October 2025 via London label Earthly Measures. The track was crafted through layered sound experiments that evoke nostalgia and an acute awareness of time passing — how life unfolds in distinct stages, each with its own weight and significance. While imbued with a reflective, bittersweet mood, “Time” pulses on a dembow rhythm, keeping it both danceable and deeply emotive.

We already know that Israel is the land of great producers, and that its ideology about what is music. The country has been intensifying more and more, bringing an even greater demand of producers who present great quality music, which makes the experience more complex.

This time Matan Caspi arrives to reaffirm that Israel has been consolidating as one of the main generators of artists and producers of electronic music, the man who in 2016 was featured as one of the best progressive house DJ by Beatport, continues his journey as digger, exploring releases of great relevance in his career.

After passing through 5 continents and more than 20 countries, recognition of his work is proof of his current position as one of producer by Israel underground scene, collecting presentations by Mexico, Armenia, Netherlands, Russia and Ukraine.

Labels of the caliber of Anjunabeats, Armada Music, Beat Boutique Records, Deeper Records, Definitive Recordings, Enormous Tunes, Nervous Records, Pacha Recordings, Spinnin Deep, Bonzai Progressive, have surrendered their tracks that show all their resourcefulness as a producer, under the aesthetics of the progressive house genre, Matan Caspi is taking his name ever further.

In addition to his remixes for Marc Fisher, Serve Devant and Mindgamers, the artist created his own label: Outta Limits Recordings, a label that is already featured as a highlight in the Beatport catalog, maintaining a succession of launches by talented artists like Stan Kolev, Zigger, Darin Epsilon, Wally Lopez and the brazilian Yudi Watanabe.
