While many of you can easily speculate why I choose to do this song, things are very different now. I had started it in August and just couldn't get myself to finish it. However, I pushed through and while the final product is amazing and could possibly be one of my favorite remixes with Brian to date, it's just not how I feel anymore.

Everything happens for a reason, sometimes you just gotta let life play out on its own.... god knows what surprises are going to take place.

It’s been a minute since @StephenJusko and I put out a new remix together, but when we learned that one of our favorite artists, P!nk (Blacklow’s absolute number one!), was back with new music we were inspired to get back to work in the studio together. This track is a post-pandemic euphoric anthem that celebrates the joy and resilience of being alive - it centers triumph, love, and unbridled happiness, and reminds you to always be present in the moment. (because tomorrow is never promised!) We strived to take this already perfect pop song and create a high-energy club remix that would uplift listeners with emotional chords, soaring strings, and builds and that would whip dance floors into an absolute frenzy. We’re so happy with how it turned out, that we honestly feel it’s one of the best remixes we’ve ever done together. We hope it brings happiness to you as well during the madness of the holiday season and reminds you that your life, every day, can be a Whitney Houston song!

Los Angeles-based DJ Blacklow (Jeremy Blacklow) grew up on the dance floors of New York City inspired by the house music of the '90s. In 2011, Blacklow finally listened to friends' advice and took his love of music to the next level, playing bars, clubs & events throughout Southern California, before going on to become a successful DJ and producer who is now touring the world.

Blacklow's sound is a mix of classic house, tech house, disco, nu disco, progressive, and tribal house, with a trademark sound of soaring vocals throughout each set. He seamlessly blends the old and new to create an incredible high-energy dance floor journey on every outing. A standard Blacklow set includes a heavy dose of throwbacks and classics, mixed with the latest tracks drawn from a wide array of inspiration.

Blacklow’s production work includes several singles and remixes with his Texas-based production partner of the past four years, Stephen Jusko. Their first collaboration, a remix of Katy Perry’s “Never Really Over,” caught the ear of Perry’s manager, who gave them the official studio stems for her next single, “Small Talk,” which quickly became their most downloaded and listened to single ever. Together, Blacklow and Jusko have also remixed singles by Lady Gaga (“Rain On Me”), Kesha ("Where Did You Go?", “Raising Hell”), P!nk (“Never Gonna Not Dance Again,” “Just Like A Pill”), Alanis Morrisette (“You Oughta Know”), Chappell Roan ("Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl", "Pink Pony Club"), Zai (“Clouds”), and Debby Holiday (“Love & Beats”) and more. 

In December 2020, Blacklow and Jusko put out their first single together, a cover of the ‘80s Scandal anthem, “The Warrior” with vocals by Audrey Callahan for Queen House Music, which quickly soared to the top of Beatport’s Top 100 Big Room charts. Two complete remix packages followed in January and February 2021. They followed that up in the fall of 2021 with a cover from Callahan of Pat Benatar’s “Shadows of the Night,” with remixes that have served as gay anthems for the fall of ‘21 and winter of ‘22. 

In the summer of 2022, Blacklow and Jusko collaborated on a cover of “Believe It Or Not” (the theme song from “The Greatest American Hero”) with vocalist Brian Kent, which was released on Swishcraft Music. And in June 2023, the dynamic duo released their first Original track together on Swishcraft, an LGBTQ anthem titled “Love Lift Me Up” featuring vocals from the incomparable Debby Holiday.  

In 2024, his new mixes with Jusko of Zhana's "Looking For A New Love," Brian Kent's "Carry Your Light," and Nick Rashad Burroughs' debut single, "Gym Crush," have been lighting up dance floors. His Future House mashup of Yonce's "Texas Hold 'Em" also went viral, with over 20k streams to date. 

Other Blacklow high-energy remixes include “To Be Able To Love” (with George Figares feat. Brenda Reed, Swishcraft) Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Cut To The Feeling” (with Figares), and “Party For One” (with Hector Fonseca), “Beautiful Trauma” (P!nk), “Brave” (Sara Bareilles),  Bo$$ (Fifth Harmony), two explosive remixes of Ellie Goulding’s “Flux,” and the tracks “Fierce,” “Faces” and “Better Days” from NYC-based singer Mila Jam.
 
With so much momentum behind him, Blacklow has several exciting gigs and productions in store for 2024. Hard at work on several new post-pandemic projects, Blacklow remains one of the most exciting DJ/producers working today.
