We were so lucky this week to have the chance to chat with one of the world’s best Techno DJs, Nastia from the Ukraine. Nastia explains how she got into DJing having first been a top touring Gogo dancer, starting her own record label, her first DJ break after managing a main stage at a major festival as well as telling us all about how she escaped from Kyiv with her daughter after hearing explosions, driving for many hours to the border and finally relocating to Amsterdam. Nastia was one of the first Ukrainian DJs to go straight out to work after being forced from her home by the war and then very generously donating 50 per cent of her fees to Ukrainian causes including raising funds for animals, those in need and the Ukrainian army. Nastia is an inspiration!

Never Surrender (Club Mix Extended)

Singer, Songwriter and DJ, Bowie Jane is releasing her latest single Never Surrender after placing 2nd Runner-Up on the most recent season of CBS Big Brother USA. Bowie Jane was the only contestant in Big Brother history to never be nominated in 100 days of being in the house. She also won 3 Head of Household competitions.

Never Surrender was written and recorded in Sweden with producer Per Aldeheim who has worked with the likes of Max Martin. Vocals by Bowie Jane. The lyrics are written about the pressure of achieving, never surrendering to that pressure, and never giving up. The relation to playing the game of Big Brother is uncanny.

The UK followed suit and Busted became Bowie’s first top ten hit in the UK hitting no. 7. This is her fourth top 20 song in the UK Club Charts.
