Brisbane based ambassadors of genre fusing techno X CLUB. make their anticipated EP debut with ’SCUM’. Shifting between hasty breaks and propulsive 4/4 kicks, the EP focuses upon a definitive neo-futuristic rave sound inspired by a combination of 90s rave, jungle, electro and warehouse techno. Amongst clear hints of nostalgic influence, X CLUB. have involved a quantitive level of abrasive digital and analogue sound design in sculpting their signature techno-grime texture. Featuring four dynamic heaving club cuts, ‘SCUM’ explores tones of darkness while inducing a trance-like sense of euphoria. Blasts of contorted synth tones rage against mechanic percussive rhythms manifesting the scene of a dystopian industrial rave set neither in the past nor future.

‘SCUM’ is officially set for release on July 2nd via Earthed.
