Summer is in FULL SWING and this month I return with a live beatdown that was recorded from Tryst Patio on Canada Day long weekend! Some brand new bombs and a couple of my favourite classics have been thrown into the set. Whew... what an amazing summer its been, not only for myself, but for our great city of Toronto! We have opened doors never before thought possible within our scene, and they will now remain open to build upon for years ahead. From small rooms to big rooms, from festival stages to outdoor pavilions, beaches to boat cruises, summer 12' will go down as my favourite of all time! DJ Brent Hayward - Proper Patio Heat (Set 1)

Possessing over 18 years of experience in the Toronto nightclub scene, Brent Hayward has witnessed the evolution of not only the trendsetting nightlife that the city possess, but the musical metamorphosis that has taken place over time as well. This has helped mould him into the DJ, booker, host, and event producer that he is today. His experience and passion for all that is music shows on the dance floors he controls! 
Having held multi-year residencies in some of the most well known venues in North America, Brent's keen ear and ability to read a crowd have made him one of the most sought after DJ's in the Toronto circuit for years. Brent's philosophy as a DJ and performer is to put solid emphasis on programming, as well as technical skill. It's the constant infusion of both that keeps him ahead of the pack. 
Having worked alongside many of the countries top promotion companies, DJ's, and producers, Brent has carefully crafted a knowledge gained from his years of exposure, and carved it into what can be called his own style. Having a passion for everything house and techno that continues to grow stronger by the day, Brent remains on the cutting edge of all that can be considered "great music". Never one to label or judge a sound or style, Brent's philosophy remains, "A great track is a great track, no matter what sub-genre one tries to classify it as"
