That’s how DJ BRIAN V. describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go in and challenge himself, his emotive musical selections as a DJ are his own therapy. An 80's baby, having grown up on the musical influences of N.W.A, Run DMC, The Beastie Boys, Michael Jackson, New Edition, etc. and the Golden Hip-Hop Era with likes of A Tribe Called Quest, Mobb Deep, 2pac, Notorious BIG, and many more. Also raised on the musical influences of the 90s house era, with likes of Robin S, Crystal Waters, Jay Dee, Da Juice, 4Hero, etc. all which became infused with his own love for both hip-hop and also dance music. Brian V. ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: "Feel-good music, synths & 808's, Hard basslines, uplifting vocals and positive vibes."

A very active member of his local SF community, Brian V., is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of the Beautiful San Francisco Nightlife. You can Find DJ BRIAN V. at all the top nightclubs in the bay area today on a weekly basis. Though he loves playing in nightclubs and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes.
