Insular llega a nosotrxs para romper el umbral y darnos un primer pantallazo del próximo disco de Lan° titulado "Ciudadela", impactando así en la linea temporal contemporánea, en nuestras mentes y en el plano físico que compartimos. 

Dice @lannlan:
"Insular es una consecuencia de un momento dado, una ejecución grabada en el tiempo y en mis recuerdos. Alejado del sistema de referencia ke me ofrecían las coordenadas iniciales o el punto de partida de esta obra , Ramos Mejia, me encontré lejos de lo industrial y el puente de ciudadela, otra vez frente a lo desconocido y de esta manera opere en base a lo emocional hacia algún posible resultado."

Insular fue producido, escrito y mezclado previo al momento de su ejecución, una sola toma grabada directa a la cinta en febrero del 2021.

Los instrumentos utilizados para plasmarlo fueron: Yamaha Tx7, Roland Jv1080, Casio Cz101, Roland Mks80, Mpc 1000, Korg Ms 20 Mini, Behringer Model D y Korg Sq1. 
Los procesadores ke utilice fueron: Digitech Dsp 256xl, Alesis Midiverb 4 y un pedal de delay de origen desconocido.

Mindy Meng Wang 王萌 is recognised as a world leading contemporary guzheng artist. With a vision to bring the guzheng into modern musical contexts, Mindy’s work redefines musical traditions whilst strengthening cultural connections globally. Mindy’s versatility and compositional talents have brought about collaborations with contemporary and classical artists including the Gorillaz, Regurgitator, Paul Grabowski and Deborah Cheetham, as well as performances across Europe, Asia, and Australia. 
 
Tim Shiel is Naarm/Melbourne born and bred, and his production style blends samples and found sounds with contributions from a seemingly endless pool of close collaborators.  His many musical lives include a stint of global touring in Gotye’s band, a series of award-winning indie game soundtracks, and studio credits on releases by Flight Facilities and Hachiku. His latest solo album “Distractions One” features a vast team of collaborators including Genesis Owusu, Braille Face and Kaitlin Keegan and was recently nominated for the Australian Music Prize. Tim is also known for his on-air radio roles at triple j and Double J, and remains the driving force behind artist-run music collective Spirit Level.

Fue una noche super especial, compartirla con Reka, poder sentirnos vulnerables y poder mostrarnos como somos, compartir momentos vitales, cuidarnos y sentir una compañera a mi lado, permitirnos cambiar el discurso de la noche, y comunicarnos con la música que amamos de otras maneras ( decidimos y ella me pidió que no quería pinchar techno ).
