After dropping two stunning tracks in 2023, Donegal’s Microcosm makes his full label debut with our first release of 2024 – ‘Labyrinth EP’.

The EP commences with the title track ‘Labyrinth’, where dreamy pads and synths give way to its appropriately labyrinthine amens for a tearing opener. Things continue with ‘Inferno’, a 93-influenced dancefloor workout full of chopped breaks, warped bass, dark stabs and dub influences. In contrast to its name, ‘Pandemonium’ offers a little respite, with rolling breaks and deep pads locking you into a groove, before the EP closes with label co-owner Moakz’s rework of ‘Inferno’ – upping the tempo a little and adding intricately edit drums and subtle new atmospherics to the original track for a rousing finale to the release.
