Just returning from my 5-week trip to Brazil, this mixtape is a love letter to its coastline. From the hidden beaches of Trindade and the lush jungle bays of Ilha Grande, to the endless energy of Rio de Janeiro, the laid-back vibes of Morro de São Paulo, the wild surf of Itacaré, and the golden dunes of Jericoacoara in the north.

I spent days watching surfers and kitesurfers chase the perfect wave, dolphins disappearing into the sunset, and countless moments just sitting on the sand with a coconut or an açaí ice in my hand getting lost in the moment.

I remember the salty breeze on my skin, the sound of waves mixing with distant music, the smell of grilled fish in beach bars, and sunsets that painted the sky in deep orange and pink.

“Into the Waves” is my way of capturing that journey and those experiences – a mixtape made solely of Brazilian Afro House tracks flowing like the ocean itself, warm, chill, and alive.

The cover shot was taken on the beach of Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro, with the Dois Irmãos mountains rising in the background.
