Returning from a short hiatus, Onestar Records welcomes Carlos Bacchus to the label for his debut single. Hailing from Colombia, Carlos Bacchus first emerged over a decade ago with releases via Smart Phenomena, System Recordings and his own Bacchus Records imprint. With a varied style that incorporates elements of deep house, tech house, electro, trance and more, the Monteria resident eventually settled on progressive house. Continuing to perfect his craft, Carlos is currently enjoying his best and most prolific year on record, with sixteen new credits added to his discography across 2022. Now adding Onestar Records to his portfolio, Carlos debuts on the label with 'Lithops', alongside a remix from Ivan Martine

Inspired by Greek gods, this new EP called "Hera" shows us two incredible musical perspectives of Carlos Bacchüs. Colombian producer since 2008, he has signed on labels such as Polyptych Noir, Balkan Connection, AH Digital, RKP, Sunexplosion among others.

In 2022 he won the badge of best progressive house producer at the LATINO MUSIC Conference Awards. His productions have had the support of Paul Van Dyk, Gai Barone, among others.

In this EP Carlos brings us two great productions that call the public to the dance floor. Hera, the main track, has an avant-garde sound and powerful bass. On the other hand, the second track "Sphere" shows us his well-known progressive house side, with emotional melodies and interesting drops.Enjoy Them!

The Motive

Carlos Andrés Perez García (born February 1, 1993 in Barrancas, Guajira) known by his stage name Carlos Bacchüs, is a Colombian DJ and producer of progressive house, electro, ambient, among others; he produces a variety of styles, as well as other forms of electronic music. He started producing in 2008 and since then he has released countless productions which have been very well received, in 2022 he managed to sign with Enormous Tunes where he has released many of his hits. The South African DJ "Nora en Puré" at the end of that year she released her single "Bajo el Sol" shortly after she signed with Onestar Records to release "Lithops" her single was supported by the great legend Paul Van Dyk on his podcast "Vonyc Sessions" also by the Argentine duo Oliver & Tom on their radio show "Dreams Of Light" His taste for electronic music began at the age of 15, when he found a Tiesto DVD called "Copenhagen: Elements of Life World Tour" a concert that the Dutch DJ gave in Denmark.
