Bosnian Sinisa Tamamovic hit the decks with an endless string of gigs in his hometown of Banja Luka, Bosnia And Herzegovina in the late 1990's. 

Nearly ten years on, Sinisa has established a reputation for throwing mind-numbing parties across Europe, attracting a legion of followers willing to cross borders to get a taste of his twisted techno, tech-house and minimal beats. 

Since 1999 Sinisa has successfully partnered with fellow Banja Luka DJ Mladen Tomic in their URBAN BEAT organization. Quickly recognizing a niche to fill in the recovering Bosnia, Urban Beat has evolved as probably the country’s foremost promoter of events and parties by booking top drawer international names to satisfy a hungry home crowd.

Since 2011 Sinisa is now evolving from his new base in London, UK. He continues to releasse music on Dubfire’s SCI+TEC, Christian Smith's Tronic, Umek’s 1605 Music Therapy , Mindshake Records, Plus 8 Records as well as expanding his own label Night Light Records with fresh talent and renowned names.

Revisiting some of the year's biggest tracks in techno, Nicole Moudaber's MOOD Records presents 'Best of MOOD 2018,' mixed by label favorite Carlo Ruetz. Available for digital download December 21 and featuring artwork from mixed media fine artist, Peter Max-Jakobsen, the release comes as only the second compilation from the MOOD Records imprint after surpassing a milestone 50 releases in 2017. Delivering the stomping four track 'Stormer' EP this past June -- which saw plays from the likes of Adam Beyer and Anja Schneider -- Nicole Moudaber taps fast rising star Carlo Ruetz for the label compilation. Highlighting MOOD Records original tracks from Fur Coat, POPOF, Stephan Hinz, and remixes for Moby, Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox, the 12-track compilation represents the label's leading take on dance music.

We welcomed him to the MOOD family with his 'Stormer' EP in June and he also joined me at MoodZONE at BPM Portugal earlier this year. Opening with Wigbert's "Moonlight," the nine minute acid saga builds until the rattling percussive beat of Stephan Hinz's "Conspiracies" takes the lead. Teaming up for their MOOD Records debut, Italian techno maestros ANNA V & M.I.T.A., transport listeners to another dimension with the warping sounds of "Through The Wormhole" followed by the minimal, yet transforming motif from SUDO's "Abstract." As the first of his two tracks on the compilation, Carlo Ruetz's "Surrender" sets the perfect stage for the Truncate peak-hour remix of Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox's classic number, "See You Next Tuesday." Turning to a remix from the MOOD Records label boss herself, Nicole Moudaber crafts a spellbinding, ambient techno atmosphere with her innovative take on Moby's "Like A Motherless Child" before the compilation goes into overdrive with Venezuelan duo Fur Coat's "Spiral" and "Alone In The Dark" from POPOF. The intensity continues with Stephan Hinz's "Fearless" with its synth hook throughout fading into Sly Faux's mesmerizing "This Made You." Rounding out the mix with another of his tracks, Carlo Ruetz stays true to MOOD Records' sound with a dark attitude on "Silence."

Continually expanding its influence on today's biggest names and tomorrow's future stars, the imprint regularly stands tall in the vast techno-sphere. The show's success has also resulted in the invitation to be one of just a handful of artists to be involved in the launch of Mixcloud Select, where she'll be donating 100%% of the first years proceeds to her ELEVEN campaign, which aims to end the brutal practice of female genital mutilation (FGM) worldwide.

On this week episode we have a special “back 2 back” set with Miss Sheila, one of the main Portuguese DJs, recorded last December 7th at Private Breakfast’s 3r Anniversary that took place at Sandhouse Lounge in Oporto (Portugal). Private Breakfast is the main after-hours in Oporto, and this “back 2 back” set was recorded between 9.30 and 11.30 am in a completely packed club.

Carlos Manaça is one of the main Portuguese DJ’s and producers and has been an essential part of the country’s Underground dance scene since its very beginning. In 2024 celebrated 38 years inside a DJ booth but his DJ schedule is still very busy. He plays mainly in Portugal but also plays in countries like Japan, England, Switzerland, Brazil, Luxembourg, Poland, Croatia, Germany, Mexico, Angola, Mozambique, Russia, USA, Canada and Spain, where he lived from 2002 to 2021. He has now moved back to Portugal.

As a producer his name started to get international exposure in 1995 with his remixes of O.L.N. "Oporto Deep Cuts EP" released on TRIBAL AMERICA (and Tribal UK), one of the main worldwide Labels at the time. His “Reboot 144” (Acid Error Mix) was the A Side of that release and was supported by no other than Danny Tenaglia, among many other artists.

In 1999 founded Magna Recordings, one of the first underground dance Labels in Portugal with releases by Victor Calderone, Chus & Ceballos, Richie Santana, Mendo, D-Formation, Natalino Nunes, Stephane K & Koutarou M, Peter Bailey, among many others. In 2001 co-produced the worldwide hit “The Strong Rhythm” with his long time friends Chus & Ceballos, included on “Deep Dish – Global Underground 021: Moscow” CD compilation which gave them their first worldwide success reaching the top of the dance sales charts all over the globe. 

With releases on Labels like SCI+TEC Audio, Stereo Productions, Toolroom, Orange Recordings, Transmit, Otto Music, Kinetika Records, Beat Freak Recordings, Moody Recordings, Kult Records, District Audio and his own Magna Recordings, among many others, Carlos Manaça is more motivated that ever. He still loves delivering his typical Tech House & Techno tribal influenced grooves to the clubbers every weekend, and feels that still has a lot of music to bring to the global Dance Scene.

Being also an Audio Engineer (took his course at the prestigious SAE Institute) and head of Beat Works, in 2022 started as a Mastering teacher at ETIC Lisbon, one of the best and well known audio school’s in Portugal, as well as an invited master class Mastering teacher at Pro-DJ in Oporto.
