JC Delacruz (Jay C Delacruz) is one of the hottest upcoming young cats from Portugal's underground scene.
A true heavyweight mixer on the decks is hybrid tech mixes breakout from the deep Portuguese underground to the world during 2010 with the help of social media networks.
The passion of djing started very young at the age of 8, growing with recorded tapes from artists such as Carl Cox and Jeff Mills.
With only 13 years old and his first mixer, he started to djing at home and at school parties.
He has been rocking the dancefloor ever since, starting a very unique type of sound going back 2 back from house to techno.
A true entertainer to the dancefloor, his sets are filled with the finest selection of tech house and techno, combined with his trademark non stop sessions full of amazing vibes. 
As a producer his productions illustrate his powerful skills on the decks: banging and powerful peak time grooves.

Magna Recordings celebrated 20 years this May. Our first two vinyl releases, Carlos Manaça “Feel The Drums” and Peter Tha Zouk & Bruno Marciano “The First Tribal Feeling” were released at the same time, on May 2000 and were an immediate success. 
To celebrate our 20 years in the music business we’re going to release some of our most iconic releases remixed by some of our favourite producers.
Saeed Younan is one of them. He started djying in 1988 but was as part of the Saeed & Palash duo that his name took off. The duo delivered great tracks and remixes on their own Addictive Records and other labels and their dark tribal sound became famous all over the globe. When the duo ended, Saeed kept on producing great music and djying on the main events worldwide, like Space Ibiza last night in 2016, invited by the only and only Carl Cox. Since 2004 manages his own Younan Music, one of the first digital-only labels.

This pack also has a new version by Pete The Zouk himself and new-mastered versions of the 2000 original mix and Paul Jays remix, also included on the 2000 original vinyl release.

“African Roots” is an electronic Afro House track with deep percussive tribal elements, showing his ethnic’s influences, something that has been on most of his music since the beginning.

“This Is The Police” was produced during the latest racial riots in the United States. It’s an energetic Tech House track with lush keys and a funky groove.

Carlos Manaça is one of the main Portuguese DJ’s and producers and has been an essential part of the country’s Underground dance scene since its very beginning. In 2024 celebrated 38 years inside a DJ booth but his DJ schedule is still very busy. He plays mainly in Portugal but also plays in countries like Japan, England, Switzerland, Brazil, Luxembourg, Poland, Croatia, Germany, Mexico, Angola, Mozambique, Russia, USA, Canada and Spain, where he lived from 2002 to 2021. He has now moved back to Portugal.

As a producer his name started to get international exposure in 1995 with his remixes of O.L.N. "Oporto Deep Cuts EP" released on TRIBAL AMERICA (and Tribal UK), one of the main worldwide Labels at the time. His “Reboot 144” (Acid Error Mix) was the A Side of that release and was supported by no other than Danny Tenaglia, among many other artists.

In 1999 founded Magna Recordings, one of the first underground dance Labels in Portugal with releases by Victor Calderone, Chus & Ceballos, Richie Santana, Mendo, D-Formation, Natalino Nunes, Stephane K & Koutarou M, Peter Bailey, among many others. In 2001 co-produced the worldwide hit “The Strong Rhythm” with his long time friends Chus & Ceballos, included on “Deep Dish – Global Underground 021: Moscow” CD compilation which gave them their first worldwide success reaching the top of the dance sales charts all over the globe. 

With releases on Labels like SCI+TEC Audio, Stereo Productions, Toolroom, Orange Recordings, Transmit, Otto Music, Kinetika Records, Beat Freak Recordings, Moody Recordings, Kult Records, District Audio and his own Magna Recordings, among many others, Carlos Manaça is more motivated that ever. He still loves delivering his typical Tech House & Techno tribal influenced grooves to the clubbers every weekend, and feels that still has a lot of music to bring to the global Dance Scene.

Being also an Audio Engineer (took his course at the prestigious SAE Institute) and head of Beat Works, in 2022 started as a Mastering teacher at ETIC Lisbon, one of the best and well known audio school’s in Portugal, as well as an invited master class Mastering teacher at Pro-DJ in Oporto.
