I am one of the owners of Habitat Living Sound, a micro club in Calgary Ab. I have owned some prominent record shops when such a thing was still viable. I continue to make an effort to represent some of the classic values and ways of doing things to the newer generations.

I am particularly inclined to music that shows sophistication, restraint and profound passion or understanding of the medium - while maintaining some raw characteristics. Ideas and uniqueness area always at the forefront, but a good old fashioned groove is still very important to me.

Techno, Deep House, Dubstep, Leftfield and Chill - I like it to have a progressive slant in that it draws from other genres - but I do like ethereal music that is both trippy and compelling.
