For our 2019 Christmas, my dad and I decided to have a friendly competition by each recording a mix to cater to our family's taste. For those who don't know, I learned everything I know about DJing from my pops, DJ Dennis Gallegos. My old man is a legendary Latin DJ who played in countless clubs through out the Bay Area when Salsa rooms and Latin night clubs were first becoming a thing in the 90's. From DV8, to Sound Factory, Cafe Cocomo, and many more, this man's experience gave me a chance to learn and grow as a DJ since I was 13.
