This mix is intended to pay tribute to the Companies that brought about Ultimix, Hottracks, FunkyMix, etx. Those are DJ production companies that came up with faithful DJ length and quality remixes of popular and revival songs. With over a thousand plus songs under their belt, they created what I think is the emergence of Electronic Dance Music, using samples and electronics to extend, deepen and transform music from their original pop structures to, what I feel is the beginnings of EDM.

At first it sounds like a tribute to the mixing outfits, but later on, as the mixing progresses, it becomes a dance marathon for those who are hard dancers of the 80s and 90s.  So please enjoy, dance and reminisce. Its club play at its teenage years, the birth of rap and the birth of EDM
