This remix was made using original beats combined with various samples from a DJ mix of a vinyl set of classics made by Angel Moraes over 20 years ago. You can hear the record crackling in some of the vinyl samples used in this remix. When Chia first played this track to Angel, he recognized the song but could not identify the artist. Now Chia continues the search for the mystery artist. Chia started this remix many years ago circa 2010, but recently finished it during those long hours in isolation during the pandemic.

Beannacht Go Channa

This is a remix that I made in 2010 for DJ/producer Craig Mitchell and the legendary performance artist Alan T.  The track was made as a sort of anthem for a weekly club night in NYC called Asseteria. I was given a sound file of Alan T going off fiercely, commenting on all kinds of thing, carrying on and the like.... in the way that only he can. I went to town, chopping out all of my favorite comments, and then laid them out into this little story. I was so honored when Alan chose to perform my version of the track at Winter Music Conference 2010. I share this with you here for your enjoyment.
