Her sonic journey began at age 4, trained in classical music through the guzheng, an ancient Chinese string instrument. This deep foundation in traditional sound gives her sets a unique soulfulness that transcends genre.

Since stepping into the underground scene in 2020, she’s carved out her space spinning organic house, deep house, bass, and multi-genre blends that defy expectation and ignite dance floors. Her sound weaves earthy textures with deep, driving rhythms—balancing heady atmospheres with body-moving grooves.

A regular presence in San Francisco’s club scene, DJ Chinese Girl Problems has held residencies at iconic venues including The Endup, Monarch, Asiento, and Lions Den, where she’s cultivated a loyal following drawn to her genre-fluid, emotionally resonant sets.
