Next up on Bonzai Progressive we have the superb Pulsar, which comes from the creative minds of a trio of artists who have proven themselves time and again with quality efforts at every turn. Nico Parisi and Monotique renew their studio partnership after a successful first attempt, namely their remix of AudioStorm's Rhetoric Monster. Joining them is Franco La Cara who returns here after a couple of releases on our Bonzai Back Catalogue series from 2018.

The release opens with the Original Mix which takes us on a celestial journey in search of new beginnings. Vibrant, plucky synths intrigue as tight beats and a deep rumbling bassline ensure maximum impact on the floor. Almi returns on remix duties after his latest effort – Existence, alongside Theus, saw great support. Here, he takes the track on a deep trajectory, adding gritty elements with a raw edge which creates mesmerizing sequences. Rounding out the release and returning to Bonzai Progressive, Koschk is next to take on interpretative duties and, just like his previous multitude of cuts for us, he does not disappoint. Sticking with the deeper theme, plucky synths, solid beats and hypnotic voices lace the groove to the murmur of a chunky bassline.

"Sabo and his record label Sol Selectas embark 2024 with the fifth edition of the 'Global Entry' compilation, which features 10 organic house tracks with Afro rhythms, melodic grooves and enchanting melodies.

The release features unreleased original tracks from Sol Selectas favourites such as German Brigante, alongside KÖNI's new remix of a classic, and record label debuts from the likes of Gionist and Sapoz.

Global Entry is an invigorating concept that helps lift our spirits and warm our hearts in these cold winter months, as each of the tracks have a feel-good energy that helps us get the new year off to a positive start.

In total, the release includes artists with origins in 12 different countries and lyrics sung or spoken in various languages, as the release embraces Sol Selectas love of different world cultures, and the joy of diversity.

All the artists who feature on this release include, Sabo, Matanza, Safar (FR), German Brigante, A X L, G.O.D.A., Memo Rex, Joe Pea, Djolée, Ayala (IT), Ruskar, Atlantis, Anza, LITCHI, Gionist and Sapoz. Some of the tracks are solo productions, where others are collaborative contributions.

Collectively, the artists on this release boast individual releases on other prestigious record labels such as Stil Vor Talent, MoBlack Records, Monaberry, Bar 25, Rebirth and many others of equal note.

The artwork by Helia Jamali draws us into a parallel dimension of sound, where positive intentions are the only thing you need for a ticket to enter."

Israeli/Colombian DJ, producer and founder of Underground Bloom Records Label, Golan Zocher's career started at the very young age of 17 spinning vinyl in a city where the electronic music scene was just a shadow of Salsa and tropical rhythms. 

Fast forward to the present, and it’s a joy to see Golan collaborating with Choopie on this stellar EP. Golan frames it like this “Make Me Famous EP is a special one because it represents two tracks of different realms, where one is of light and comfort, security and sense of belonging while the other represents a world of confusion, distress and hypnotic darkness. Both tracks for the same night but at different hours”.  
Make Me Famous, the title track is the first half of this equation, with warm pads and lush chords, while Azaia brings a darker element to proceedings. 

We are also treated to a remix by Tel Aviv born and Berlin based Nela, who shares a gorgeous take on Make Me Famous which brings the piano melodies right to the fore.
