Over one hundred artists from all over the world and various disciplines joined forces to raise funds for Red Cross Ukraine and help the innocent. After three days of no sleep, we are proud to present you WhyPeopleWar Vol. 1 and 2. fundraisers with more than 100 tracks! We want to thank all artists who participated and the studios that helped us master the tracks in record time! Let this symbol be the message we send out there with this fundraising compilation. Let this music uplift the human condition and do its part in dragging us out of this situation. From Lithuania with love! Slava Ukraini, Heroyam Slava!

Danse Alice - When You Stand (Whypeopledance X Ledotmat Musique)

Throne of Blood continues the anniversary onslaught with the third of four EPs of new and exclusive jams from friends new and old. Following on from the first two Anniversary EPs which featured contributions from Joakim, Chloé, Justin Cudmore, Curses, Hardway Bros and more we deliver more dancefloor material from Pleasure Planet, Man Power, Danse Alice and Teleseen.

EP 3 kicks off with Sisters, all big rave energy owing a big debt to Pleasure Planet’s Kim Ann Foxman, Andrew Potter, and Brian Hersey’s memories of countless pilled-out 90’s era nights. In contrast, Danse Alice, a new project from dear friend and collaborator Remain (Meant Records) come with a slow motion groover, an emotional score for the comedown. Look for more music from this Marseilles-based duo coming soon on Lumiere Noire and Ombra Intl.

Rounding things out is an absolutely monstrous breakbeat banger from Newcastle’s Man Power, an homage to everything awesome about Chemical Brothers and the beautifully groovy “Sacambu” from our friend and long-time champion of the label, Teleseen. 

It's an EP of contrasts, another way to resist pigeonholing what Throne of Blood has stood for over the past sixteen years and a refusal to chase any single sound, scene or trend as we look to the future…

Danse Alice - Shivers (Extended AdLib Version)

It looked like a normal night under the stars.
In the forest clearing, people were building the stage and setting up the scenery for midnight's big rave.
Alice came to dance but arrived too early to the party.
While she was sitting outside the camp she saw a funky monkey jumping right in front of her.
She heard a whisper but wasn't sure, so she started to follow the little monkey.
Out of the blue she fell down, or was she climbing up?
It all ended very quickly and, to her surprise, nothing seemed to changed around her.
On her way back to the camp she started to hear dark, psychedelic electronic music.
Very quietly she could hear a mantra saying “Petit Monde… Petit Monde..”
She was drawn to the intoxicated voices.
As she arrived, she was shocked to find the camp was full of people, all standing still in front of the DJ booth and humming the mantra.
Slowly she walked inside. People cleared the way for her to pass all the way to the DJ.
Suddenly a strong light appeared and the DJ pointed out at her and shouted-
Danse Alice!!
And the party started.
