Job de Jong is a 22 years old DJ/Producer, born and raised in Leiderdorp and now based in Leiden, the Netherlands. Music has always been a passion for Job but as he got older he realized he was also interested in DJ’ing and producing. Since 2019 he started DJ’ing at a number of parties hosted by Happy Feelings. Later he even became one of their residents. As time passed he got more familiar within the disco/house, minimal/house and underground scene and he also started playing at Thuishaven Amsterdam, Complex Maastricht, Colorado Charlie the Hague and many more unique locations. Later in 2019 he started with producing and released his Get Up debut EP on OVRDOSE Deep in January 2021. He is known for his warm and groovy feel, always dancefloor orientated and the use of uplifting sounds inspired by artists like ANOTR, Kerri Chandler, Toman, Archie Hamilton.

The amount of hours you put into all these tracks every single day, then to see it’s in the wrong hands makes me feel a bit anxious. Nowadays we live in a time that we can get track of new tracks easier and somehow people can get their hands on music that you’ve never sent out to anyone. I am a bit forced to do it, but to end on a positive note, I’ve decided to share those 3 tracks on my Bandcamp and make the best out of this situation. I hope I can give the message to my fellow colleagues/followers you have to be careful with sharing things that have a lot of value for you. Even if you’re not in the music, it’s a matter of trust and you should feel some respect for someone’s dedication on their work.
