Rave City

For the past 2 years, I have been focusing on figuring out where I can stick myself into the music scene in portland. I have spent a lot of time and focus into a specific sound and style, that resonates with people, separates me from everyone else, while still being true to myself and the music I love, House Music. 

But for those who are really close to me know that I listen to a lot of different types of music. And since its birth in 2016, I have been obsessed with Phonk and Wave. It encompasses everything I love about electronic music. Although 2 very different sounds on their own, Phonk and Wave play an integral part of my music and DJ journey.

With it being such a new sound it hasn’t  been until recent years it’s gained in popularity. I still struggle with where this fits in portland, and whether I want to attach my name to this sound as it’s “off brand” and such an opposite direction of how I market myself. 

But I fuckin love this music and have a massive catalog and it’s about time I start putting it out there. Please let me know if you guys like or hate this. And if you love it, and want to book me, slide in my dm’s.
