DJ Construct - "Dubzilla Pt. 2" (101 Track Drum & Bass Mix of Dubs)

It's been about 3 years since I put out a mix of all dubs, so I decided to ramp this one up big to a total of 101 tunes, all killer no filler. As usual everything is mixed in key. This mix was made on Friday September 17th 2021 using 4 CDJ 3000's & a Pioneer V10 mixer, which was plugged into a Tascam to record. The mix was mastered by FuntCase and has a total running time of 1 hour, 33 minutes & 21 seconds. Please feel free to download and give it a share, comment and/or like. I hope that you enjoy this mix, it was a lot of fun getting back to smashing some dubs, back to my roots!

This latest 1 More Mix comes courtesy of an infectious human being. DJ, producer, MC, streamer, podcast host and mental health advocate, Diligent Fingers. 

Hailing from Moss Side, Manchester, his surroundings growing up in a Windrush hub ensured that his path led only one way. 

From attending free parties in his younger years to celebrating three years of running his successful multi-genre label, Spynal Records, Dili has come a long way on his journey. His mix is also a journey that covers all ends of the drum & bass spectrum.

Finding inspiration from his family, his city and his life experiences, Diligent Fingers breaks boundaries in his productions by speaking about them in his tracks. Most notably, Cabin Fever, where he touches on his mental health. 

Also the host of the Forward Motion Podcast, Dili champions an array of artists on his Twitch streams and provides sound advice for artists beginning their journey into the scene in this.

What an impeccable night.  Bigup up the Shy FX for his contributions to this music and Destiny Events for organizing such an impeccable event. The vibes were priceless!

Opening up for Shy FX was an incredible honor. I spent weeks strategizing my set, knowing a lot of old-school ravers would be there. I wanted to do something special, bringing everyone back in time with a touch of nostalgia. I hope it worked out and that you all enjoyed the journey as much as I did.  This weekend reminded me of my true purpose and why I'm more committed than ever. I've reflected on balancing my passion with personal goals, realizing the sacrifices I've made are worth it. Creating music brings me immense joy and fulfillment, especially when I see your reactions. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey.
