To celebrate the release of his EP Veak comes through with an amazing selection exclusively for Jungle Cakes!

Make ready with the Junglist energy, Veak fires right on target with the latest booming 5 track EP ‘Shockwave’. The French based producer delivers some fresh new killa riddims to seriously get your speakers trembling. 

First up is straight shooter ‘Get up’ kicking off with heavy drums, a turbulent bassline and heady FX. Second is ‘Jamaican’ this one sending down a ragga style riddim and hurricane fuelled breaks to really get the dance wilin’ out. 

‘Exclusive Style’ is third on this badman EP, sending down that junglist pressure, sampled breaks and ragga infused vocals. Next is ‘Samurai’ with the sampled ragga vox, shelling down a hectic, badman riddim and a propa mashed up b-line. 

Last up is ‘Shockwave’, this one full of savage vibez with its ethereal breakdown, sci-fi drumwork and raging bassline. 

Gather the masses, this a top tier EP, armed with only the most brutal of basslines. Veak champions five certified crowd pleasers sending shockwaves to those who dare to join the dance.

When approached for the Drumz 25 series I wanted to do something special to rep the brand & focus on capturing 25 years of D&B, so I decided to do an extended history mix & have America’s best emcee “MC Dino” host in a toasting manner, taking you on a trip down memory lane to the tunes that shaped this culture. There's 101 carefully selected Jungle/D&B tracks: some of the biggest anthems, classics, dubs or remixes of popular tunes from the past 25 years. If you are new to D&B then this is a perfect history lesson blasting through 25 years in a crash course fashion, or if your a veteran Junglist then this is a great mix to refresh your memory. I wanted to keep the original feel & vibe so the mix was kept in original 175 BPM tempo. Mix was made 3/19/22 with 4 CDJ 3000's & Pioneer V10 which was plugged into Tascam to record. The mix time is 1 hr, 51 min & 29 sec with all the tunes mixed in key, so you go on a seamless harmonic journey. Shoutouts to FuntCase on mastering, & Memo (2fukdup) for artwork.  It was tough selecting 101 tracks but I feel this is a great start for representing the foundation.
