Welcome to the 100th anniversary episode of the series!

For MWTG, Verlake has prepared a nearly one-hour mix consisting exclusively of his own productions (100% unreleased!).

A producer and DJ hailing from Zielona Góra, with several years of experience in the Wrocław club scene. He has been living and creating in Warsaw for a few years now. He is the founder of the cassette label Laral Tapes (@laraltapes), which he runs together with Dextre (@dextredub). He also releases his music on labels such as Jungle Gym Records, Mystictrax, FASRAT, and Diffuse Reality, where his debut vinyl was released in 2022.

Both in his productions and DJ sets, he navigates the realms of dub techno and outsider house. On one hand, he is an enthusiast of lo-fi vibes, and on the other, an indefatigable seeker of a solid sound. You may associate him with playing warm-up sets at the dearly missed Das Lokal, his DJ and promotional activities at the O B I E K T club in Zielona Góra, as well as performances at Up To Date Festival (2022) and Garbicz (2017).

Colombian (Brooklyn based) multi instrumentalist Ela Minus is a humble rebellion to the overly produced-laptop driven electronic music scene. Ela is a one-woman all hardware electronic orchestra. Following a strong desire to maintain the essence of improvisation both in recorded as well as on live music, she does not use any laptops in absolutely any stage of her production or live performances. She does everything herself and performs live using only hardware machines and her voice.

Originally a drummer Ela has had a long career as a multi instrumentalist for countless projects. Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. She moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music where she graduated with a dual major and moved to Brooklyn, NY. Where she worked at the synthesizer company Critter & Guitari alongside her career as a touring drummer, as well as her solo career.
