Minneapolis-based Centrific showcases his signature Midwest techno sound with today's Global Vibe Radio mix, a recording of his recent set at Communion in Minneapolis.

Born in Suburban Chicagoland and raised in Northwest Wisconsin, Steve Seuling (a.k.a. Centrific) anchored himself in Minneapolis since 1993. In a mostly-hidden, yet vibrantly evolving underground scene, Seuling started attending, curating, and DJing events in the mid-1990s. Underscoring his commitment for the Twin Cities’ massive bass bins, Seuling then in March of 1998 founded “Intellephunk”, his brand of parties that began at the now-shuttered Rockler Fur Building, drawing inspiration from those of his contemporaries (Woody McBride’s “Electric Disko”, Drop Bass Network’s Even Furthur). 

Centrific throws a weekly summer party called “Communion”, founded in 2007 alongside fellow Midwest native Dustin Zahn. Communion is an inclusive open-air day party, focusing on the psychedelic side of house and techno. Most recently, Centrific created an online Twitch stream entitled “Distant Future”, a platform where he invites local and international DJs to showcase their music and chat about their ideas for the future of the rave scene. His dedication to preserving and protecting the local roots of the dance music community shows that, in many ways, he’s the lifeblood of Midwest techno.

Steve’s contributions and continued loyalty to Minneapolis is immense and self-evident. He embodies a fatherly role in both his day-to-day life and artistic practice. Seuling is grounded and approachable; a speaker-freaker with a wry sense of humor and an openness to connect with new and old friends. His DJ style explores a direct lineage to pummeling, aggressive Midwest techno and house, mixing with pointillist sonic precision that permeates his approach to his musical eclecticism. Centrific veers away from musical boundaries and expectations, while pushing further and further into that psychedelic headspace one can only call “the groove”.

Last week, Hans visited a promo party for two guys called dunkel & BasslineJunkie here in Oslo. We kindly asked to do a recording, and they allowed us. 

The vibe was absolutely MAD during this party, and Hans played a killer set that never stops pushing the limits of energy. Dont sit down, dont lay down. Get the fuck up, and dance to this massive set!

Elesbaan es uno de los iconos locales de mayor repercusión en su ciudad natal Madrid y en toda España. 
Gestor, productor y residente del mítico Soma Experimental Club, en la calle Leganitos (1995 / 2003), donde durante una década actuaron los Djs y grupos más reconocidos mundialmente 
Soma fué un club visionario, su agenda viajó desde Detroit a Berlin pasando por Birmingham o Chicago, fué pionera en la escena de Clubs en Madrid y significó un antes y un después en la música electrónica en la década de los 90. 
Elesbaan ha sido un invitado de excepción en festivales, clubs y eventos de mayor relevancia dentro y fuera de nuestro Pais y su técnica a los platos está considerada de las más enérgicas, limpias y precisas del panorama Dj actual. 
Su trayectoria como productor abarca diferentes épocas y estilos desde el minimal más oscuro y ruidista como “Ufo 1 & Ufo 2” (Rhythm of Time (1997) o “Transmisión Exsercisses” ( Brainwaves (1998) o incursiones en el Detroit Techno como son “Do it” Ep (1999), “Private Dancer” (1999), “Madriders” Ep (Likit B junto a Hd Substance y Leandro Gamez (2000)), “GangBang” (Out Records (2000) ) o “Latin Store” (Cd Sonar 2000.). 

Entre los años 2005 a 2009 estuvo totalmente sumergido en su proyecto “Del Barrio Records”,un sello de soporte digital donde se da cabida a producciones patrias con un espíritu muy arraigado en los barrios más cotidianos, apoyando muy directamente al circuito mundial de Net Labels. En esta nueva etapa de su trayectoria, sus producciones, llevan estampado un estilo muy personal: “El partido del Siglo” (Discos de Lata 06 junto a Xpansul ) y un sin fin de producciones y remezclas para diferentes artistas y sellos dentro del panorama electrónico mundial.
 Durante 6 años ha sido residente en Club Cassette (2006-20012) . Del 2009 al 20012 formó parte de la dirección de Audium Club, gestionando las contrataciones de artistas internacionales 
El último año cambió su residencia a Portugal donde formó parte de varios proyectos de la mano del sello Phuturesoul . 
Tras su exitoso 20 aniversario como DJ el 25 de octubre de 2012, nacen las sesiones "Tanzen", en Stardust, suponen un viaje en el tiempo, a través de los clásicos del vinilo, que hacen vibrar la pista vinilo a vinilo, recuerdo a recuerdo, actualmente siguen celebrándose En 2013 regresaron las fiestas "Soma", siendo co-productor y actor principal de ellas, hay una clara regresión al vinilo, al recuerdo, a la calidad. 
Otro de sus proyectos actuales, muy interesantes, es "The Wine Crew" se trata de introducir el vino en la cultura de club. Para ello se realiza un maridaje musical de cuatro vinos, seguido de una sesión de electrónica 
En cuanto a la producción musical, actualmente realizando en colaboración con Altieri (Altieri&Elesbaan) techno contundente, profundo, una exploración de nuevos sonidos, su nuevo trabajo BROKEN BAR ha visto la luz en el sello TRUE TYPE TRACKS, en el cual ha colaborado con un remix DYKkON , su objetivo, la vuelta al vinilo.
