He continues to thrive in creating a massively fun experience within the community through every show while gaining new skills with each passing day.

Akashik is a boundary-pushing electronic music project that takes listeners on a journey through the unknown. Guided by 'The Librarian,' a character inspired by the mystical Akashic records, Akashik's tracks blend immersive rhythms and ethereal soundscapes. The name, "Akashik" draws its inspiration from the Akashic Records—a concept rooted in ancient mysticism that suggests a cosmic archive containing all knowledge and experiences across multiple dimensions and lifetimes. We're fascinated by the idea of tapping into this reservoir of wisdom and creativity to fuel our musical endeavors.
Our vision for Akashik is to create electronic music that resonates on a deeper level—drawing inspiration from diverse dimensions, cultures, and experiences. DJ Couch King, is a musician, producer, and DJ based in Reno, Nevada.  Since 2005, he has been a driving force in the underground bass music scene, rocking dance floors across the United States. DJ Couch King’s style defies easy categorization, weaving through a spectrum of genres, including Drum and Bass, Breaks, Halftime, Electro, and Bass House. His music is characterized by fast beats and heavy bass lines that push the boundaries of conventional electronic music.
Known for his rapid-fire mixing skills and turntablist flair, DJ Couch King creates an energetic atmosphere that keeps ravers on their toes. His live sets are a testament to his deep knowledge of music, blending modern sounds with old school flavor. Beyond the decks, he is a passionate advocate for the underground music community, constantly exploring new sounds and fostering connections among artists and fans alike. He continues to influence and inspire through his performances, productions, and unwavering dedication to his craft.
