Happy Pride! Summer is here in the U.S., and I am feeling the collective joy in the atmosphere. As we reflect on the contributions our forebears have made so that we can enjoy the freedom and acceptance that many of us enjoy today, I wanted to pay tribute to the tea dance, which was first created in Fire Island in the 1960s. I hope to carry on this distinctly American style of music and event well into the future. There's nothing like soaking up the afternoon sun surrounded by friends and great music. After taking last year off and not doing a Pride set, here is 2022's WerQ.  This years addition features a mini disco set 27 songs into the 6 hour and 43 minute masterpiece.  Throughout the set you will hear multiple Gay Anthems along with music from all decades (the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's & today.  You have your love ballads, songs of hope, hip-hop, top 4o, feel good songs, disco inspired songs and even some rock songs remixed.  PRIDE takes you on a journey and tells a story of love, of inclusion, of happiness, of intimacy and just wanting to move your feet.
PRIDE is all vocals and the beats alone will have you dancing even if you never heard the song or do not know the words.  PRIDE ranges from 128 bpm all the way down to 119 bpm.  The remixes are from my favorite DJ's, as well as myself.
