Tyrel has been a mainstay of Chicago’s underground House scene for years. With his move to San Francisco he has quickly established himself as a top selector with razor sharp mixing skills and a favorite among the locals. Recording of my opening set from the NYE 2023 event thrown by Research and @OFF99.  What a party!  I played from 10p - 11:45p ahead of Zernell (Grimy Edits @grimyedits), who brought the crowd into the new year (opening twenty twenty four with Kerri Chandler "The System" 😱)

I had an incredible time setting the vibe, bouncing between styles and genres, and really started to connect with the crowd about 45 minutes into the set as the dancers started to fill out the warehouse.

When Crash Landon’s sounds start pouring, the listener’s cosmic summertime begins – all things Balearic, leisurely, spacey, international, with a touch of disco and house.

That sunsoaked style threads through all of Crash Landon’s grooves, most recently heard on the EP he dropped this year as ‘Adriatic Tempo,’ (Low Recordings, LA) created alongside LA-based producer and DJ Jake B.

Prior to relocating to Seattle in 2020, Crash Landon co-curated the LA-based Midnight Therapy afterhours event, which had Seb Wildblood (UK), Joutro Mundo (Brazil) and Esa Williams (South Africa/UK) visit alongside amazing local talent.
