She's referred to as "Da Bad Girl" for her unique, rebelling style and technique. DJ Cristal is of Puerto Rican, French and Spaniard decent, but was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is a New York Rican with a strong European background, that has not only given her that natural feeling and rhythm of the Latin Culture, but also the upbringing of a fast past, demanding and multi-cultural demographic that you would expect from New York City. Originally from Brooklyn South's Marine Park area, DJ Cristal's musical knowledge is driven from more then just passion and love of music, but from influences as her grandfather Armando who wrote music and poetry, her brother DJ Cintronics and her cousin Latin Hip-Hop DJ, DJ Charlie Chase. It was their influences that pave her way, but also the influences of close family friends such as Big Pun, Willy Colon, Celia Cruz, Fat Joe, DJ Enuff, DJ Camilo, DJ Rob-Lo, Cuban Link and Triple Seis, and other influences such as La India, Gloria Estefan, Mariah Carey, Pink, Lady Gaga, CoCo Channel, DJ Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyke, DJ AM and David Guetta, that push her drive even further, and made her song selection and style so renowned and versatile. Through this and being the youngest of three and former pageant queen, holding over twenty titles on a national and international level, has resulted in her learning to always bring a little extra to the plate and mold her into the active and talented women she has become today. Dj Cristal is ready to step up to the plate and put a branding on an industry mostly dominated by males, by using her natural talent, beauty, sex appeal, and her unique and rebelling style and technique.  She has been on numerous internet radio stations such as DTF, Urban Latino, PNC, Club Zone (Club Fantasy), Niteline Radio (Da Poisonous Kiss), Strong Island (I-Hop Radio Show). DJ Cristal has dropped over 12 mixtapes such as, Candy Shop Vol. 1, Toxiques Baiser Francais, Mon coeur a ete perdu en Juin, Cupid Killer, Da Poisonous Kiss Vol. 1, Da Poisonous Kiss Vol. 2, Devoue, Gitana, Blood Curse, Blood Rose,Phoenix, and Gummy Bear. She has worked with many other artist, DJs and been featured in music videos. DJ Cristal took a six year hiatus to focus on her degree and personal life, but now is back. She obtain he Associates in Broadcasting Technology and Management with a minor in film editing/production and photography. During her six year hiatus she focused on her photography and videography work, spent some time out in the Bay Area and traveled. Cristal is currently back home in New York, and is now working on obtaining her BA in Social Science with a concentration in Media Studies from New York University.
