TWOPILOTS - Riptide

Hailing from West Yorkshire, the quartet of: Josh Fox, Jeffery Appiah (commonly known as in the music industry under the stage name J Razzi Moni 925), Tshepo Brown (who performs his poetry under the name The Understated Poet and Callum Fletcher are individual artists, who have combined for their debut track as a collective. 

Individually the collective has a range of different musical abilities with Josh being the lyricist of the group, J Razzi Moni 925 being versatile as a singer, rapper, who has been influenced by afro-dancehall. Tshepo is a poet who would describe his poetry style as introspective and Callum Fletcher generally makes music with a 140bpm.

Their track ‘Why am I here?’ describes why the collective are here, detailing what brought them onto the Kings Trust Music production course in their own personal way. It’s an infusion of different styles and can be described as a new generation of music. The collective hope that their track will be received well all over the world.

Linkin bizkit, based in west yorkshire are a new metal/ emo rap group bringing beloved genres together in a new way for your ears pleasure. 

Tunes filled with banging bars, raw emotional vocals and an edgy tone. Taking inspiration from linkin park, limp bizkit, xxxtentacion and ski mask the slump god. After only 3 days of working together they present to you “WIN THIS FIGHT”.

Syconium

This is Syconium, a group based in Leeds, with Myah on lyrics and vocals, Sania and Lewis on production. They specialise in techno and industrial, producing music with heavy, dark themes and vocals that contrast with their bright dance tracks. They are inspired by a range of different genres, including Game music, rock and Techno.

This song called “Liked it Anyway” was made to make you dance because of the energy created with this space :)

Let Me by Søujam

Emerging neo-soul, funk infused group, Søujam (Soo-jam), composed of promising new talent, Simone Dawes, Dylan Phelan and Angel Francisco.

Formed in 2024, and based in Leeds, Søujam has recently debuted with their new single ‘Let me’. The group plucks inspiration from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Esperanza Spalding and Mary J. Blige to generate bouncy grooves, accompanied by smooth, emotive lyrics and melodies. 

With Dylan on bass, guitar and keys, Simone and Angel layering with vocals, poetry and lyrics, the group maintains a collaborative approach to the creation of their music.

Søujam - Let Me

James (26) and Dec (19) both have got together to form the Leeds-based production duo ‘Windows of Opportunity’ (WoO). Both members of WoO are from Leeds, born and bred. 
James has been active as a musician since the age of 15/16 - having been playing guitar since the age of 6. However, he started producing at the ages of 19/20, and went to Uni to study the subject during the pandemic at the ages between 21 and 24. Dec has been an artist for just under a year, having only recently taken inspiration from Country and Folk music especially.

James is a producer and musician whom dabbles in many different styles, but his forte is Drill, Metal and EDM - whilst Dec is a lyricist, vocalist and musician, whom takes inspiration from story-based Folk-Rock songs that create and set the scene.
Between Dec and James (WoO), the styles, genres, art and talents span a whole variety of different things, not limiting to the previously mentioned.

‘Back in Time’ is a Drill inspired EDM track with elements of Metal, Rock, and Folk; it’s an atmospheric track detailing the feelings a fictional guy has for an ex-lover who won’t return his calls. It is a mixture of Drill, Grime, HipHop, EDM, Metal and Folk.
The songs that especially inspired the production of ‘Back in time’ were: Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird, Mr Traumatic - Psychedelic Ascension, Mick Gordon - the Doom 2016 OST (Original Soundtrack), and various Drill instrumentals on YouTube.

Back in Time is Dec’s first ever attempt at rapping considering his folk and country based musical background.
It is also one of James’ best productions to date, especially given he has had to learn a new DAW (Digital Audio Workspace) in the space of a couple of days.

Back in Time debuts at Beaverworks, 2pm on Friday 11th of April 2025, before being uploaded to SoundCloud under Rite Trax on the 18th of April 2025.

Our debut single “Tres goes international” is an uplifting, euphoric, summery, celebration synthesising the sounds of the US, South America and Europe.

Leeds/Huddersfield based RnB/Neo-Soul/Hip-Hop collective Incoming (Keisha, Jay, Shiloh and Dago) were formed in April 2025. Influenced by the likes of Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo, Billy Joel and Burna Boy; They have been working together over 3 days to produce their first single Healin’, which will debut at Feel Good Studios on 11/4/2025 in partnership with Rite-Trax and The Kings Trust. They hope their single Healin’ makes you feel a little peace in these trying times.

West Yorkshire based baddies, HAUNTED VEHICLE hail in for their first performance as a collective. 

Formed this week, the trio utilise their five individual years experience in DJing, production, music theory and songwriting to debut their first track ‘HOPSCOTCH’.

HAUNTED VEHICLE take inspiration from the likes of SOPHIE, Kero Kero Bonito, Partiboi69, Michelle Pfeiffer and Charles Dickens. During the course of the last week, they have finished this track, Forca said it was a banger, played the kazoo and terrorised everybody else in the room with a glockenspiel.

Ahead of their first performance, they’re feeling juiced, galvanised and ready to sparkle - you’ve been warned.
