The day I knew I wanted to be a DJ was when I was a kid I would go to the barbershop in Paterson, NJ with my dad and there would be a guy holding a brown shopping bag full of mixtapes and the mixtapes would be hosted by a DJ and he goes by Funkmaster Flex. As soon as I hear that sound bite of an explosion that he drops meant that this song he is about to play is going to be FIRE and hear him hype up the newest songs on the block I said “I want to be that”
