Okay, so let’s get something out of the way.  I hate douchey bio pages that talk about how people play twelve instruments and make it sound like Beethoven himself has taken over their soul allowing them to seamlessly mix every genre of music ever created. One, it’s all bullshit.  Two, I’m not that full of myself.

I’m the kind of DJ who will have people saying “He played good music and he wasn’t an asshole.”  The former should be a given, but these days there’s something to be said for the latter.

I play house.  I play hip hop.  I play Top 40 bubble gum nonsense.  I play old rock songs that people don’t really know the verses to but can scream the chorus at the top of their lungs.  I play “This is my song!!” stuff and I play “This is my song!!” stuff three months before someone knows it’s their song.  I still proudly play Whoomp There It Is as well as Earth, Wind & Fire, 50 Cent, Daft Punk, and just about anything else that will make someone in the crowd say “Oh hell yeah!”

I’ve brought the life to the party for over 10 years and don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.  Let’s rock.
