I saw this remix competition the other day which inspired me to make this. I'm easily pleased, and there's nothing I like better than putting together two tracks with similar (or in this case identical) names. For this mix I took the 'Kode9 and The Spaceape Rework' of Meltdown by King Midas Sound, hacked it about a bit, and spliced it together with Ghostpoet's vocals from his 'Meltdown' track, and this is the result - enjoy!
PS I'm pretty sure that using another track takes this outside the rules of the competition, but I wanted to share it anyway so you could all hear it.

The original version of this track is on a fantastic compilation of French electronica from the '70s called 'Cosmic Machine'. For this version I took out some of the more outdated keyboards and just built the riffs up a bit more.

I'd heard a couple of tunes recently where the rhythm reminded me of the movement of a train, so I came up with the idea of a themed mix for a train ride round Europe. When I heard the Dimitri From Paris mix of It's Not Over by Holy Ghost!, I couldn't believe how much it reminded me of the Shep Pettibone mix of New Order's True Faith. So in case you haven't heard one or the other (or both) here they are back to back so you can compare and contrast the two.

I've loved Chrome Canyon's 'Elemental Themes' album ever since it came out last year, and always wanted to do something to put my own stamp on it. The opportunity came when 'Elemental Themes Remixed' came out a month or so ago and inspired me to put together a mix of my favourites mixes from it, plus a couple of tracks from the original album.
