I LOVE Pokemon trainer Hop's battle theme in Pokemon Sword and Shield! In this remix I kept the original tempo and structure of the theme, building it out with massive drums and dance elements because this always felt like a dance tune to me!

I used the existing song structure to write in new DJ effects, filters, drops, and impacts. I have a feeling they specifically mix the game music with low bass and drums for the Switch's onboard speakers, so I did a lot of work to bring out the (super funky) bassline in the original by running it through an octave effect. Now we're ready for a Pokemon rave!
